Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 27, 2026
The short version: we do not want your data. The game runs entirely on your computer, and this website does not use cookies, accounts, or analytics. Here is the long version.
The game
- Taskbar Cat Club runs locally on your PC. It does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal information.
- Your settings (adopted cats, options, window positions) are stored in a local file on your own machine and never leave it.
- There is no telemetry, no crash reporting, and no ads.
- If you bought the game on Steam, Valve processes the purchase and any Steam features (such as achievements, if added later) under the Steam Privacy Policy. We never see your payment details.
This website
- taskbarcatclub.com is a static site. No cookies, no accounts, no trackers, no analytics.
- Like almost every website, our server and our CDN (Cloudflare) keep standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and abuse prevention. These are kept briefly and are not used to identify or profile you.
- The site loads two fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google's servers and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. See the Google Privacy Policy.
If you email [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and help you, and we do not add you to any mailing list or share it with anyone.
Children
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. There is nothing to collect.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top.
